16 g vanilla sugar 1 tbsp
40 g butter unsalted
200 ml sunflower oil
200 ml milk
350 g flour all-purpose flour
10 g baking powder
Tips

I used a bundt pan measuring 22 cm x 9 cm.

Make sure the eggs and milk are at room temperature before using.

Measure all ingredients carefully—precision is key in baking.

Sift the flour and baking powder gently over the bowl to avoid lumps.

Thoroughly grease your bundt pan and optionally dust it with flour to prevent the cake from sticking. Use butter or baking spray for greasing.

For variety, you can add chopped nuts, raisins, or chocolate pieces to the batter.

Let the cake cool sufficiently in the pan before attempting to remove it. Warm cakes are more fragile and can break easily.

Carefully invert the pan onto a wire rack or plate and tap it gently to release the cake.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and then allow it to cool.

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar, and mix for 2–3 minutes. Add the milk and mix again. Add the sunflower oil and mix once more. Then add the (cooled) melted butter and mix again until combined. Sift the flour and baking powder over the bowl and mix until smooth.

Pour the cake batter into a greased bundt cake pan.

Place the vanilla cake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (320 °F). Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the cake is done. Keep an eye on the baking time, as every oven is different. Check for doneness by inserting a skewer into the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
