Tips
Use pistachio paste with a high percentage of pistachios for an intense pistachio flavor.
Dip the pastries quickly in the milk to soften them, but avoid making them too soggy. A short dip is enough.
After assembling, refrigerate the desserts for 4-5 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the flavors to meld and makes them even more delicious!
Stappenplan
Mix the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and pistachio paste until smooth. Transfer the pistachio cream into a piping bag.
Take one ladyfinger and pipe a dollop of pistachio cream on top. Place another ladyfinger on top and press gently.
Pour the milk into a bowl. Spread pistachio cream along the sides of each pastry. Briefly dip the pastry in the milk, then roll the sides in the chopped pistachios.
Place the pastry on a piece of parchment paper and pipe a long strip of pistachio cream on top. Let it firm up for the perfect texture.
