Tips
Use lukewarm milk. If the milk is too hot, it can kill the yeast. The ideal temperature is around 35-40°C.
Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place. The oven with the light on (but turned off) works well!
Let the beef mixture cool completely.
Every oven is different. Rotate the baking sheet halfway through if your oven bakes unevenly.
Stappenplan
Place the lukewarm milk, honey, and yeast in a deep bowl. Mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Add the sunflower oil, flour, and salt. Knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm spot, or until it has doubled in volume.
Heat the butter and olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add the ground beef, salt, cayenne powder, red bell pepper powder, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 7-8 minutes, breaking the meat into small pieces.
Add the grated cheese and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Let the mixture cool.
Deflate the dough and divide it into 3 equal pieces, each about 215 g. Shape them into balls.
Roll each ball out on a floured surface into an elongated rectangle, approximately 40 x 17 cm (16 x 7 inches).
Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top half with cheese slices and one-third of the meat mixture. Fold half of the dough over the filling.
Brush the dough with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200 °C (392 °F) for 18-20 minutes, until browned.
Add lettuce and sauce to taste.
