Stappenplan
Peel and cut the potatoes into equal-sized pieces. Cook in plenty of water with a pinch of salt for 15–20 minutes, or until soft. Drain the water.
Add salt, black pepper powder, dried parsley, butter, and milk to the potatoes. Mash or whip the potatoes until smooth.
Heat the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground meat and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add salt, curry powder, cayenne powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, cinnamon powder, garlic powder, turmeric powder, and bay leaves. Mix well. Add the chopped yellow onion and fresh parsley and cook briefly. Stir in the tomato paste and water. Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
Add the heavy cream and honey. Let the mixture simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Spread half of the potato mixture evenly across the bottom of a baking dish. Layer half of the meat mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining potato mixture and meat mixture. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top and bottom heat). Bake the casserole for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
